A Message from TACES President: Dr. ZeVida A. Jones

I am grateful and excited to serve as the President of the Tennessee Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (TACES) for the 2024-2025 term. This opportunity allows me to collaborate with dedicated professionals who are committed to advancing our mission and strengthening our organization. Together, we embark on a new journey—one that I am committed to leading with integrity, transparency, and a spirit of collaboration.

This year, we will focus on three goals to enhance our organization and the services we provide:

1. Enhance TACES’s Digital Presence: We will revise the website, increase social media engagement, and create a more interactive and user-friendly digital platform. This will ensure that our resources are easily accessible and that we can connect more effectively with our members and the wider community.
2. Sustain and Enhance Communication: We aim to implement new strategies to keep our members informed and engaged. This includes interactive forums and open channels for feedback. By fostering a culture of open communication, we can ensure that every member feels heard and valued.
3. Provide Professional Development Opportunities: We will offer webinars, workshops, and training tailored to the diverse needs of our members. These opportunities will help us stay at the forefront of counseling practices and provide the highest quality support to those we serve.

I am confident that, together, we can achieve remarkable milestones and continue to positively impact our community and profession. Let’s make this year one of growth, connection, and success.
