TACES Graduate Student Posters

Saturday, November 11th from 3:00 - 4:00 pm CST

Graduate students are invited to submit an application for the 2023 TACES Graduate Student Poster competition to be held on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Cool Springs, Nashville, TN. This invitation is open to Master’s and doctoral graduate students who are actively enrolled as graduate students at the time of the TCA conference/poster presentations.

 First place winner of the poster presentation will receive $100!!!!

Don’t miss this opportunity!

 Eligible poster presentations must be relevant to the counseling profession and may include the following:

  • Completed literature review
  • Qualitative studies that can be described in a research format
  • Master’s thesis
  • Doctoral dissertation
  • Counseling interventions/techniques
  • Independent research project
  • Completed empirical studies that have a research format (show introduction, method, results, and brief discussion

Please return a completed Graduate Student Poster Application form to: 

“Poster Committee Chair” at [email protected]by Friday, October 13, 2023

If approved, the presenting author(s) will be required to

  1. Register for the TCA conference as a student (Note: you will qualify for the student discount rather than the presenter discount)
  2. Provide own poster easel (Note: easels and tables are not provided by the hotel/TCA)
  3. Be a TCA member at the time of the conference
  4. Be present to display the poster at the TCA Conference in Nashville on Saturday, November 11th from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  5. Attend the awards poster session.

 

Winners must be present to receive awards.
